From now on, I'm going to try to participate in Tammy's Kitchen Tip Tuesdays.

If you're like me, and forget to clean the microwave for embarrassingly extended amounts of time, you know just how difficult it is to get those crusty splatters off of the sides of the microwave.

A simple solution to this is to fill a small bowl of water about half way (it really doesn't matter) and microwave it on high for about 5 minutes, and then let it sit for a few minutes after that. The steam will loosen the gunk, making it easier to scrub away! You might need to do it twice if it's the first time to use this method or your microwave is really gunky.

Thank you for that tip! I just got a new microwave, so hopefully with that tip I can keep it much cleaner than my old one :)
